Description
DPRI develops probabilistic tsunami hazard assessment (PTHA) for
long-term mega tsunami impact assessment and new tsunami inundation
model for urban areas. The presentation will focus on recent progress of
tsunami modeling from the source to inland areas. Second, aftereffects
of the deep-water third-order nonlinearity in greater water depth is
shown based on a series of experiments from deep to shallow water.
